Blue Ridge Mountain Farmhouse Bridal Portraits
When I arrived at Grace’s family home for her bridal portraits, her mother was helping her button the sleeves of the wedding dress that used to be her own. The delicate buttons on the sleeves were all still in perfect condition. Grace wore the dress perfectly. Her father was quick to grab a tarp to carry around as it was pretty muddy as it had just rained recently before that day and we wanted to protect the dress from getting too dirty before the wedding day.
Their home and property was absolutely gorgeous. We walked through their fields to a pond that reflected the clouds in the sky that day and then back up the muddy yellow hillside to this amazing barn in mid restoration when Grace threw on her dad’s hat for a few photos. This sweet family connection was the cutest thing ever. To end the session we caught the golden light just before it hid behind the Blue Ridge Mountains.
